I’m missing the front drive shaft for my 4x4, the local pick a part place wants 700$ for it which is outrageous, it’s a 1990 350, will a front shaft from any year fseries 1990 and up fit or no, and where could I find one
Any 86/87-97 F350, 250 is different. If yours is a single cab, you have to have one from a single cab, super cab and crew cab are the same. Im not 100% on the single cab thing, but ive heard it enough that i would mention it, makes no sense to me and i have no proof either way.
Another alternative is if you can pick up one at a junk yard real cheap, locate something a bit too long but the right diameter and same yokes on both ends. Then have a machine shop cut and shorten it. Shouldn't be to much labor involved, I did one myself years ago when our shop machinist was on vacation.
