I am working with a 1988 to 94 Jaguar IFS. The factory Jag P/S Pump is huge, ugly, and looks to be an integral part of the engine. Can I run a Ford or Chevy (Saginaw) pump ? Any pressure problems ? Hoses can be made at a local shop to mate metric to standard U.S.A. size, if that's what's on a Ford or Chevy pump. Any help appreciated. Thanks !
mine is out of a 89 ford e250 (donor engine) Saginaw pump “Canned ham” I used some shims to reduce the pressure it is now one hand steering not one finger steering and it is every bit as big as the 87’ jag pump v belt system
