I converted my 2018 F350 XLT from a 4in sync screen to the 8in screen with Nav using a 4d tech harness all plug and play works well for the most part. When using CarPlay if the phone rings it pops up on the screen but no audible ringtone is heard. If you answer it through the truck you can not hear the caller at all. I have to switch to speakerphone and talk through my phone
my APIM was out of a lariat with nav if it matters I did no forscan changes simply plugged it in and went to using it Some of the other bugs I have is when turning up the volume the **** changes the physical volume but the gauge in the display does not change same with fan speed it pops up and physically changes but on the screen the speed doesn’t sweep up and down
let me know any thoughts you guys have and I’d be glad to share any helpful info with others who want to swap
I am really hoping you are still active- I just completed the swap on my 2018 F250 and have the EXACT same issues- to a T. Did you ever get it worked out?
