'02 Excursion: cooling system -unidentified lying object
Anybody recognize what this is? Can't figure what this does?
Just finished installing the new 7.3 Mishimoto trans cooler and an all aluminum radiator, while putting
back the grill i noticed this object laying around, seemingly not attached to anything.
Anyone recognize what this is, does or where it belongs?
The Mishimoto cooler is a beauty, aftermarket radiator very nice, but inline cooler bungs were not
compatible with the long nose Ford inverted flare cooler line fittings, after searching high and low for
adapters, i ground off the tubing flare, slipped the long nose Ford tubing nut off, slipped on a new
5/8-18 thread 3/8" tubing nut, and created a new double inverted flare, pita, but it's working fine.
unidentified lying object- identified: Many Thanks!
Yes, looking at your image and sizing up what it looks like that makes perfect sense, thank you very much!
I'm glad it's not something that would cause me to take this half apart, I'll push it back into those two holes
and it will be done.
