Name is Scott from Ohio. I have always been a GM truck owner (1/2 and 3/4 ton), but in the last 60 days purchased a 2020 F350 SRW Diesel. I have to say I've been impressed with the truck. We towed our RV down to Florida from Ohio and it was a smooth ride with plenty of power. I've already gotten the bug to add some things and change some things. I had a B&W hide-a-ball hitch installed so I can tow my father-in-laws fifth wheel if needed. Swapped the black step sides to chrome full length super duty steps. Also getting ready to swap the center jump seat (Damn wife talked me into the jumpseat now agrees that the console would have been better) to a center console along with a couple other items. Am also looking at what forscan has to offer.
My father in laws 2500 had the dreaded CP4 failure which ended up getting warrantied by GM so I'm looking at all the forum posts to get thoughts on good maintenance practices. Outside of just making sure you get fuel from a reputable station that moves diesel pretty regularly. I am curious on Ford's use of a solid front axle over independent suspension as well as other topics that I hope to learn more about here on the forums.
