Hi!
I'm Dave, been Grnrngr at "The Ranger Station" for a long time. Still have that little truck but my boss had some doubts about it's ability to pull boats, so I just got an 03 6.0l F-350 Super Duty. Haven't had a diesel TRUCK before, but I work for a sailing club and we have small diesel engines on 4 sailboats and I've worked with others. So it's a "two owner" truck, first owner was a construction company. Second owner was the company that buys the trade ins from the fleet deals so it's really more like one owner. Just turned 206k, gets a respectable 16mpg but runs stumbly. Had a quote for $140-$280 to diagnose it but I'm going thru all the helpful hints here first. I'm loving what I'm seeing so far, much thanks in advance to all those who have gone before...
