got this last night while driving. I parked the truck at the house about 20 miles after this came on. I used the Edge CTS to check the code number as you can see from the pictures. The Ford Pass app on my iPhone gave me a notification to service the truck soon. So i try to open the app and it loads the Ford symbol then crashes. I updated but still can't get it to open.
I did some research on here and the other parts of the internet, and I see a TSB 19-2343 but thats the only thing official I can find. I've seen on some forums about changing the sensors and cleaning things up, but it doesn't seem to be the 100% successful way to go. I am going to call my dealer as i have the extended warranty and ESP.
I reset the code last night, drove to work this morning (about 30 minutes) and it didn't come back on, but who knows.
I just received the same error code (P2074) on my 2017 after 85,000 miles. Took it to the dealer and they implemented TSB 19-2343 and the problem went away. TSB consists of reprograming the PCM and resetting the MAF sensor. Cost----$90
