felpro plenum gasket

anyone use the fel pro intake to plenum gasket?
has anyone had the new gasket fail?
was wondering if anyone makes a thicker one than fel pro seems like i cannot get mine to fully seal
causing a couple vac leaks

Did you add RTV to one side and torque evenly?

No Rtv and yes torqued evenly

I’ve used that gasket on mine a few times and haven’t had any sealing issues, and that’s dry/ no RTV. I wonder if your intake or plenum is warped?

im starting to wonder as this is the 2nd time ive done it within days it leaks

Yeah that sucks. You could take straight edge to it or what I did was take like a 180 grit sandpaper on a long block to quickly find low spots. The good news is these are a dime a dozen at the junkyard or have a machine shop true them for cheap.
