BigMatt's EOG File Question
Greetings:
I recently received BigMatt's EOG file via email. (Thank you) It was sent as an attachment in a *.txt file format. For some reason my system (Windows 98) is unable to read this file. Microsoft Word will open up the file and read the beginning just fine but the following text is just a bunch of letters.
Q) What program do I need to translate this file? Should I be using some type of mime translating program? Your help is appreciated.

When I got it the file was a Word Document, I converted what I received to a PDF if you don't have word. http://www.davidplotts.com/ford/eog.pdf

Thanks for the feedback, guys - I'll see what's going wrong in my automailer.
The EOG is being sent out as a PDF file now.
DavePlot - can I put a link in my sig to your site? I think that would be easier than making people wait until I check my email.

Thanks all. I simply Right clicked on daveplott's link and downloaded the *.pdf file to a newly created folder in My Documents. Reads very nice with Adobe's reader.
BTW, I just replaced my IAC valve per your instructions. The repair went well. My local Ford dealer charged me $72.36 for the valve and $2.63 for the new gasket. My IAC (Idle Air Control) valve started acting up exactly at 51,000 miles FWIW.
No online part store (Ford/Napa) or my local Autozone had this part available...looks like a dealer only item at least for my 2000 Expedition /5.4L.
