Paint and Fram Question
Anyone know if Ford painted transmissions (auto) in 1965, and
Would a 1966 F350 frame do any good for swapping out for a rusty 66' F250 or can you not change out the front end.
Thanks

'66 F350 frame will have an I beam axle and a '66 F250 frame is twin I beam, both assuming 2wd. So no good they aren't even close.
I can't say for sure on the paint but would be willing to bet no company wasted money intentionally painting something that wouldn't be seen.

That's what I was figuring on the frame was hoping for some kind of generic thing that would allowed the front end to change out.
