Jack elam died.....what a shame.
He played in the western movie "ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST"
Great movie.....henry fonda, charles bronson etc was in it also

He was a great actor. No one could do the "evil look" like him, but he was good at comedy too.

I am sad to hear about. What is worse is, that I read about it here first. I haven't heard a thing about Jack on the Radio or TV the last two days. I guess he was forgotten by too many in the business.

Being he was born and raised in Az. our paper had an article about his death ...He was great....According to the story, he was born in Miami Az. and during a boyscout meeting in Phoenix he got into a fight with one of the scouts who stabbed him in the eye with a pencil. Jack lost the sight of the eye and also control ...No matter what character he played, he was good....
