Never existed on the F150, that combo is still available on the Superduty and those trucks are now bigger and larger than the old. The newest CCLB trucks have a 176" WB.
All you young whipper-snappers are wrong. Screw cab F-150’s WERE available, just not since the “Supercrew” was introduced in 2001. It ended with the 1997 body style change.
What? The only crew cab F150 before '97 was the aftermarket conversion one that had the frame cut and extended. Ford didn't make it. It cost more than a comparably equipped f250 crew cab with a 6.5' bed.

Glad I didn’t bet the farm. 😆 I swore our neighbor had a 1979 crew cab in 2wd F150 form. I was just a kid. Then in the late 80’s, my dad was looking to go crew cab, but had no use for an F250 or F350. Instead he went with a 7.3L super cab with the 8 foot box. Been a looong time. I’d be on an F150 with an 8 foot box, but we all know the payload would suffer.
