New to forum & diesels. 2011 F250 with 189,000. Bought last Saturday & has stalled several times, no codes. Spent $750 at ford dealership who could not replicate the issue after keeping it 3 days. Picked it up and truck has stalled multiple times. Starts right back every time. Any ideas where to start? Also truck has been deleted. Scary to stall out on the interstate!
[QUOTE=99150;19519787]With it being deleted it has a tuner. Check with the tune writer.
EDIT: Just a guess..........fuel demand is outrunning your pump when you push on the go pedal on the freeway.[/QUOTE
Thanks, I am honestly in way over my head here. I am just a mom that bought a truck online for her son from an out of state dealer.
He had a nice truck totaled by an F-4 tornado this spring and we bought it back fixed it and then he was in a horrible accident (not is fault) and there was no fixing it this time. He loved it & we just needed some smiles around here so I bought this thing and am regretting it and probably don’t have the money to fix it. Sorry for the vent guys. It’s been a year.
Didn’t even know it was deleted until it got here. I’ll try to contact the dealer on Monday and ask if they know anything about the tune writer.

Yes, I understand on the in over your head bit. Damn crooks selling these trucks to folks that don’t know any better. I still think the best is to take it back, let them know they sold deleted truck (in violation of Federal law) and you want a refund of all you paid. Otherwise, you could be on the hook for thousands to get it running correctly.
