I would like to shortly introduce myself.
My name is Gerold, I am from Germany and have had a Ford F600 as a car transporter for 3 weeks. Please understand my not so perfect English. I am a fan of old Ford trucks. I have a 1950 F1, 1950 F3, and 1955 F600.
I still have to do a few repairs, including overhauling the gearbox and rewiring everything in the cab. As far as I know, the truck was converted into a car transporter in England a few years ago and then driven to Austria and now it is in Germany. My problem is, I can find very little information about the F600. The truck is from 1955 and has a 390 CUI engine with 5 speed OD.

American Ford trucks from 1955 didn`t come with a 390 CUI engine so I`m really puzzled, someone may have modified it along the way. Some folks in the FTE 1948 - 1956 F1, F100 & Larger F-Series Trucks forum may know: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum41/

the engine will not be original. I can't say when the engine was rebuilt.
