F-150 bed lengths

I saw a white/gray FX4 on the lot today (awesome looking!!) and looked it up online in my dealer's inventory. I see that its a supercab with a 5.5 foot styleside bed, isn't that the smaller option? Does it look goofy?? I drive a 2000 tundra now and i dont know how much different it is. Any help??

By the way, i'm a new member, and soon a F-150 owner...this forum is a huge help on making the right choice!!

Hey, if u think it looks awesome then get it. All the new F-150s look awsome to me. It all depends on what u like/need. if u think u might want more bed space then go for the 6.5' - whatever u think is best.

AWESOME!

I would get nothing less than a 6.5' bed. You already have that in your Tundra. Unless you don't use much of the bed now don't leave yourself short.

If all you're going to use the box for is to bring home groceries or say, a new lawnmower, get a grocery box, i.e., 5.5 or 6.5 ft. If you ever expect to have a serious need for a full size truck, say to haul 4X8 sheets of plywood, motorcycles, slide-in camper, etc. get the 8 ft. box. A grocery box wouldn't be of much use to me.
