Well, yesterday drove just short of 500 miles to pick up a new 2020 F250 XLT supercab with the 7.3. Before agreeing to purchase and traveling all that way I had them measure the height. Came back where I’d have maybe half inch clearance. Then when I saw it in person I thought no way is this going to fit. But glad to report it fits nicely in my 20x22 garage with 7 ft tall entrance. I’m not sure what plan B was going to be if it didn’t fit. It helps that my driveway slopes significantly away from the entrance to the garage. Got 16.2 mpg on the drive back. All interstate at 70 and then 75 when I reached Nebraska. It rode better than I was expecting. Eager to try it out towing our travel trailer.
That’s how I felt pulling my 2018 in the first time! Had DD #1 In the bed making sure I didn’t clip the lights! Did have to swap out the antenna for a shorter one. You”ll love it with a TT!
Check your antenna. I had to put a stubby on so I could park in a 7' clearance parking garage. It dragged the ceiling tiles and I was afraid it was going to hit a sprinkler head and set it off.
Yes, I do need to get a shorter antenna. I also need to get a 2.5 inch to 2 inch reducer for the hitch before the next weekend trip with the TT.
do yourself a favor and buy a 2.5" hitch.
Just got done pulling a trailer on a 4 hour drive and the extra rattling from the slop in the adapter is annoying as hell.
I agree on the above, don't waste your money on a new antenna, just clip the one you have. I was parking in a parking garage every day that had a 7' clearance, truck was 6'10" and the antenna is something like 7'6". I clipped the antenna so it was 6'11" so I could use it like whiskers. I now know, if that hits, I really have to think about proceeding down my current path...
I had a similar experience when I ordered my 2019. I measured a few different trucks first and was sure it would fit. When I brought the new one home I had my wife watch as I pulled in just to make sure and she stopped me halfway in and said it wasn't going to fit. I suddenly got really worried but when I leaned out the window and looked I could see it would clear by an inch or two.
I do have to push up on the door and use a vice grip to hold it since the spring doesn't pull it up enough.

There should be two adjustment screws on your garage door opener - one to increase the down force (if it’s not closing all the way) and one to increase the up force (if it’s not opening all the way).
I bet if you adjust the up force, it will open more and you won’t have to clip it open

You’re kidding, right? Ford stopped giving the reducer and pin with the truck? I got a 3” to 2-1/2” AND a 2-1/2” to 2” with my 2017. It’s not like 2-1/2” or 3” stingers are just sitting on the shelves, and neither are the reducers. Even three years after I bought my 2017, they just don’t seem to be stocked items. Better get on that NOW if you need it this weekend... just in case.
It is just the 3.55 gears. If I had ordered it I would have probably gone with the 4.30. But right now our TT is only 6100 lbs. loaded and ready to travel. We love it but sometime in the future would like to upgrade slightly. We’ll never get a TT over 30’ as we like to get into some off the beaten paths and national parks. So don’t anticipate ever towing more than 10k. Probably more in the 8 to 9k range. Hopefully the 3.55s will suffice for our planned usage.
We had a new house built and paid extra to have an 8 foot garage opening and door. Did find that we had to remove the CB antenna and shorten the string on the door release pull. The first time we pulled in and out I accidentally shut the door on the little red pull handle and drove out. The racket that made had me thinking I'd hit the door and that it was falling on me! No damage done, lesson learned!
Yep. With the 2020s if you have a 3 in receiver they will include a reducer. But they stopped including the reducers if you have the 2.5 in which is on mine. Our local Auto Zone has several on hand. Don’t know about their quality.

It's not the force settings that need to be adjusted, it is the Travel/Limits that need to be adjusted. And be careful, if you don't have the spring tension to hold the door up that high, the cables can come off of the drums causing all kinds of havoc!!
