OP. Sorry your thread is hijacked but, hopefully a resolve is met that benefits everyone.
ND. Minus the 9” rearend and the half ton spindles on the front dana 44, the 4x4 F150 supercab is exactly the same as a 4x4 F250 supercab. It is in Fact the only F150 with leaf spring front end. The leaf springs are the reason for placement of the steering box.
We all know that the Ford catalogs are 98% accurate. This would be one of the things that would fall into the other 2% if you cant find any mention of F150 supercab in the listing.
otherwise, you do a great job and we all appreciate your super helpful involvement with this forum.
I know not ford direct, but here’s from one of the many aftermarket suppliers.
I have 33 years of Ford parts experience (1964/97) and D9TZ-3504-B is the only P/S steering gear box part number listed for 1976/79 F100/150 4WD & 1978/79 Bronco.
33 years of experience and still cant admit when he is wrong
I have a 74 F250 hi-boy and trying to find the correct power steering pressure hose. I think the box has already been updated to a 79 but dont know, here is some pics 2 bolt top, and has ford logo on top 4 bolt to frame
OP. I had a similar conversion at one point. My 76 f150 4wd w 360/390 used the same pump. If the threads are the same on the f150 4wd and late f250 4wd then I would say that the pressure hose from a 76 f150 4wd v8 should work as a replacement.
If anyone has 4wd f150 and late f250, maybe we can do the OP a solid And check the connection at the steering box for him?
