Intermittent Engine Miss @ Idle, No Error Codes
I have a ’96 Bronco with 60K miles and a 351w which has a miss at idle. The engine will be idling smooth for around 5 to 10 seconds and then miss and return to smooth idle for another 5 to 10 seconds. This only occurs at idle and runs smooth all of the rest of the time and throttle position. I have changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil and air filter. I took it to a local shop and they put it on their computer and there were no error codes, although the front most O2 sensor was a little on the lean side, but within limits. Anyone have any ideas?
