Interior Changes

I have that nasty near gold color Eddie Baur type interior and I would like to throw it all out and replace it. The body is red. The door panels are made of some kind of yuck material. The seats are made of the same stuff. Even the carpet is yucked up. I was thinking of dying all the vinyl black. Covering the seats with something colorful like red and black and relacing the carpet with a back one. I also need a drivers side sun visor. Any sources for this stuff? Thanks.

James Duff sells door panels and carpet kits for some B2s. Not cheap, but they've got 'em.

Thanks for the info. I'm going through it and finding everything wrong. The door locks fail on the drivers side. The vehicle leans right. I think that's a radius arm problem. Still don't have an answer as to what is the IAC?

Idle Air Control valve, it looks like a silver film canister with a tail and two wires, half way back on the passengers side upper intake.

OK on the IAC. I'll check that tomorrow. Meanwhile, can the temp sensor for the computer cause the same problem?

The IAC works. Must be a vacuum leak. The only time I can get the idle down to 800 rpm is when I turn on the A/C. I would like to strip all the emissions crap off this engine. In the days before all this emissions crap vehicles didn't break like they do now. And if they did break down people like me had the parts to fix it in the trunk. Not to mention one size cresent wrench fit all. Never mind the metric crap.
