Windsheild Interior Rubber Strip
I noticed this interior rubber strip popping up at the bottom of the windshield. Has anyone seen this happen before?

Hey I tried to find this myself a while back. The window tinter guy messed up mine, but honestly looks like just square epdm foam... Maybe take it off and measure it with some calipers to get an accurate size?

Mine is doing this too. What is the purpose of it? Do others just pull it out or is there a fix?

If you want one from Ford the part number is HC3Z25044N32A. They are about $20 online. Still don't know what it does, though.

Been discussed before, I pulled mine off and didn't notice any difference. I thought it looked like crap.

It's for noise abatement - that sharp angle nicely reflects (aims) sound right at the driver. Mine is also coming out.

Same same here on my '19.

But I usually just watch the road when driving, and don't pay much attention to the dash. I figured the strip kept small items from ending up in an alternate universe where they would be irretrievable, and rattle like hell all day long.

Mine's coming out on my 18 as well. Haven't gotten around to it, as I don't notice it unless the wife points it out, but I was hoping I'd just be able to to stuff it back in.

Just noticed this on my 2019 a few days ago. Truck is going in for service and recalls in two weeks so I'll let the dealer fix it.

My did the same thing 2017, it looked like a snake, I pull it all the way out and realigned it and just took a large paint stir stick and pushed it down with the paint stick until I got it looking right.
