Well....the saga continues just as I think it is winding down. Got in the excursion this morning and noticed the radio never powered on. As I began to look troubleshoot, I found that I also have no power windows or rear vent windows. All of the fuses are good. Everything I can find thus far looks like I am not getting power to the Auxiliary Delay Relay. I swapped it with one of the other relays and still not better. Based on other reading, it looks like this may be related to something in the gauge cluster. I have seen the circuit board medics page that can rework this. That is great except this is my daily driver and while I can drive without a radio, it might be more difficult with a cluster. Is there anything else I can or should try before going to the gauge cluster?
FYI everything was working. Only thing I did between then and now is swap the map/dome lights to LEDs.
Sometimes the fuses crack and look good, but aren't. Check them again. You can use a test light. There are 2 small holes on the back of the fuses where you can touch the test light. It should light on both sides.
@Lance Helmert just for good measure I replaced all the suspect fuses. I have multiple of most them as I was laying out an auxiliary fuse block for the extras I plan to add to not use or overload the factory wiring. All the same indications. Are there other symptoms I should look for that point in a specific direction?

Thanks for the help....again!
If you have no power at the relay, then you have to check from there back to the battery.
LED's are notorious for causing circuit load issues.
I almost would have to look at it. I haven't done much with wiring in the dash. I would try to get some schematics and just keep going until you find where the problem is. I can't begin to make a guess where that is. Wish I could be more help.
To close the loop, I found my issues in a place I'd would not have thought to look. Fuse 41 (10A gauge cluster) was blown. Apparently this fuse controls power to the pieces in the cluster that provide power to the auxiliary relay. I read that on an F-150 forum somewhere but didn't know if that would translate to an excursion but apparently it does. I woul have thought with that fuse blown I would have issues with the actual gauges or something on the cluster but I did not see anything out of the ordinary there. Maybe this is a case of the description in the manual could be worded better. Hopefully that will point others to the right place. Nothing like getting to know the ins and outs of your recently purchased project right away.
I was having issues with the relay.
a buddy of mine bypassed the relay for me.
every thing works now, just no delay. Turn key on radio works and windows work.
turn key off every thing goes off.
@WE3ZS after I get the radio back in the dash I plan to start working on the center console. Plan to remove the rear entertainment controls since they aren't used with the after market system installed and replace with usb and other useful ports. I want to add some some courtesy lights to the cab and center console and the cab. Been debating on the best way to wire those in. There is a dedicated circuit for the existing 12V port but based on what I add it may be worth an additional fused circuit. With the lights I was debating tapping directly into the existing headlight circuit as I would want those switched on with the headlights. Or I my use a dedicated circuit and set up a relay with the power from the headlights used to close the relay.
