There are a few places on the internet that I have seen people making offers to make these cables. If someone within the FTE brotherhood can make these cables, I'd be ready to pay them for the services.
I too am actually looking to buy the set from Custom...I see too many failure points and have been testing my system ad nauseum...it's time to just replace all power and grounds and KNOW it's not a weak link. I'm also going to replace both batteries and my alternator (I'm sending the existing DC Power alternator in for rebuilding and then it's a backup) with a 320 Amp unit. I want my electrical to sing, dang it! I'm tired of the electrical issues.

What is the amp rating for my stock alternator (2001 w/ 7.3)?
My new cables will be here on Thursday from https://www.custombatterycables.com . I spoke to Vince (I believe), and he was very nice and helpful. I ordered the 3/0 starter option. He said I was buying at a good time since prices were going up in a couple days. I guess the price of copper is increasing.
Today one of my shop inquiries called quoting me 2 hrs ($260) labor for installation ($130/hr x2). Seems like a pretty easy choice! My order is scheduled to arrive Thursday so I think by the weekend I will have this project completed, and I can move on to other wallet heavy projects.
Also, I decided to go with the Mil Spec battery connectors as I really don't have an excessive number of accessories, only my audio, and an HID headlight relay harness. I'll post pictures when it's complete.

I looked under my truck and the factory starter cable looks like a ribbed extension cord...is that normal guys?
I think the factory alternator is either 110 amps or 130 amps...either way, not much!
That's kinda crappy! Apparently Ford skimped on everything possible just to give us things to spend money on! Next time I buy an alternator, I'll keep this in mind. Thanks!
Just arrived today from Custom Battery Cables https://www.custombatterycables.com. I purchased the 3/0 starter battery cable set. Hoping to have them installed tomorrow and I'll get a couple pictures to share so stay tuned!
I did this exact job on my 04, it is really easy. The hardest part is getting to the nut holding the harness between the starter and the front of the engine. Took me about 2 hours to get the entire job done by myself and I wasn’t working very quickly. The nut I did not reinstall. It was a factory cable so yours might be a little stiffer than the original.
