Yesterday I noticed the driver side arm cover is broken, see attached pictures. The dealers guess is that some bad driver hit it in a parking lot. He said the mirrors do not fold forward, just backwards.
Does anyone know if the cover can be replaced without having to replace the entire mirror assembly?

I was looking them all over and not sure why the one that includes the blind spot and spot light is cheaper. I’d order it.
Yes very strange. Its the modern way of designing things. Like on my previous 2009 F250 head lights. You had to remove the headlight plastic frame to change the head lamp. The frame had 3 bolts, 2 were the same size and the 3rd a totally different size. SMH.

Those prices would be what you have to pay (plus shipping and possibly tax). The connector itself should be the same. The wire count between different options would change.
I bought my, new to me, 2017 with a broken mirror cover. I discovered that there are many Ford mirrors for sale on ebay. I bought an entire original Ford mirror for $150 plus shipping. Took the pieces off that I needed and packed the rest away in the attic. This was cheaper than buying just the part I needed from Ford. Now I have spare glass, motors, lights, etc. if I need them.
