Joe's been living in Lancaster County, PA long enough to be thrifty like the Pennsylvania Dutch!
I too use king size sheets, however, I used used sheets not new. The fitted bottom sheet fits nicely over the cab. The flat top sheet covers the hood and front fenders. I tuck the top sheet into the windshield wipers. Now get this! The pillow cases slide over my mirrors. Like my PA Dutch upbringing taught me, "Nothing goes to waste!"
If looking for a quality cover to buy, I don't think you can go wrong with a cover made by California Car Cover. I had an outdoor cover made by them last year, and it fits like a glove. They even made it a little longer for me. You send them some photos and they can make it fit around whatever your set up is. Some people use it as an indoor cover as well. They have a decent selection of price and quality points for exterior and interior uses. Its really light weight breathable and moisture or rain proof. Quick drying too.
I bought three covers from Costco on sale https://www.costco.com/ProductDispla...=http%3ALogoff and found them to be an excellent cover for the price. I recently moved cross country and used one of these covers on the 40 Ford coupe that I trailered. 4 days and over 2 thousand miles later it was still intact and going strong. I did order another however since the first got a bit discolored from the straps and duct tape.
