Perhaps someone in this forum can help me. I have a 91 F150 that is starting to use oil, bearings are worn out I think, pings a bit, etc. It is just not a spring chicken anymore. Does Ford make a 351HO crate engine that will work with my computer, etc. that I can just drop in and fix this problem? It would be nice to get this pickup to compete with my 73 big block corvette :-). (I hope it is OK for someone with both Fords and Chevys to post to a group of hard core ford owners :-)
Ford does still carry the engines that were used in the 1997 F-250's. They can be used in 1993 & older trucks with aditional changes. The part number is M-6007-P58 and list price is $2,295.00, I guess you could change some of your components over to the new engine if you had too.
