SES Code
So I traded my 2000 Dually for a 2000 Excursion 7.3 diesel a SES code came up today P1211 Injector Control Pressure Higher/Lower than desired
Truck has a Hydra tuner,chip or whatever it is not sure I like it. Guy didnt know a whole lot about the truck. Anyway any help would be appreciated.

The Hydra is the way to go if tuned properly with the mods. I'd stay away from DP. Do you know which position correlates with which tune?
Example:
1 = Heavy Tow
2 = High Idle
3 = Quiet4\
4 = Economy
5 = High Perf
6 = Race

Sorry I know this is nnt good knowing what I have but the guy i traded with wasnt very informative.

Open air filter, and thats all I see. 8" suspension lift kit with 15-38.5-16 TSL Boggers on 16x10 rims. Not sure about gears is there a list of codes in glovebox?

there is an axle code on door sticker. It tells what cane in truck from factory
its 20 years old it could have had a gear swap.
Easiest way to tell, jack up back end and place in neutral. Mark tire and drive shaft with chalk line. Turn tire exactly one revolution and see how many revolutions driveshaft makes. It will get you close.
3.5 turns is 3.55 gear.
4 full turns is 4.11
more than 4 turns is 4.30.
It does get tougher if you have an open diff. Works to turn driveshaft and see how far tires turn.

The number of rotations is not relevant to the circumference of the tire. The size of the tire just travels further but doesn't change the amount of rotations.

Since its an '00 it might not have the gear ratio listed on the door jamb sticker, many '00s do not have that data listed. BUT, since its a 7.3 PSD it most definitely came from the factory with the same 3.73 gears that all of the PSD EXs came with. But like was said above, they could have been swapped over the past 20 years.
