I visited in the past as a lurker, but my recent new truck purchase motivated me to join for good. I've owned three F150s: a used 2003 XL, a new 2013 STX 5.0 V8 and the new addition, a 2020 STX 4x4 Screw w/ 2.7 Eco.
My truck use is primarily passenger-centered. I bought my first truck (an old Toyota half-ton) off eBay about 18 years ago, because I wanted something to carry stuff in for the house (bags of mulch, etc), and a sedan with a trunk just wasn't cutting it anymore. Needless to say, I fell in love with pickups and will never drive anything else. I don't do much rough stuff with my trucks, other than visits to the stables where by horses train down here in the winter. I suppose I'm a "country Cadillac" kind of owner, but I love being able to haul or tow when I need to, even if it is just my wife and my sweet granddaughter riding along as my cargo.
Bought the new 2020 off the lot at a decent price. I added the running boards, tonneau cover, bed liner and front tray mats. I sold the 2013 in pretty incredible condition; my goal is to keep this one as nice as possible for as long as I can.
