I'd take those number in Mass over Colorado any day. My 2016 F-350 Platinum cost $1300 the first year for plates/registration and I'm guessing the new F-450 is going to be somewhere close to $1500-2000. Colorado uses some formula based off the selling price I believe. It cost me about $3K to register my new fifth wheel. Lower tax rate in Colorado helps offset those costs and the owner's tax portion is deductible when filing income taxes.

Think I'm not aware of that? I've lived in here for nearly 58 years. I manage to get over on them here & there but I'm sure I come out on the short end overall.
