Unibody tailgate
Does anyone out there have experience with the re-pop tailgate sold by LMC or NPD? Do they fit properly? Is there a lot of bodywork involved in making them look good for paint?
Anybody have an OEM tailgate for a 61-63 unibody that they are willing to part with?
Is there a better source for tailgates other than the 2 companies I mentioned?

I've purchased two repop uni tailgates from two different sellers. Both were the same, both complete garbage. Doesn't fit, grind marks are horrendous, metal is super thin. The packaging they come in is also so far from adequate the last one ordered had dents all over it, corners were caved in, etc. Don't waste your time or money. Buy an original even if it needs repaired.

I got an estimate to make the repop one fit right that made spending that kind of money on an original one a no brainer. So I started looking for an original one...even though I already sunk $400+ into a repop. But yeah they are pricy unfortunately. Check the FB uni group. You might get lucky and find one in the $800 range.

I accidentally stumbled on one last year. The most incredible stock tailgate I’ve ever seen.
