power steering box.
It maybe tough to see. There is a pad the box is resting on. on top of the frame. Which raised the box an 1/8-3/16" Grind it off or leave it be ?
As you can see, very little clearance between pitman arm and frame.
Before drilling or welding the plate in I want to make sure this is correct. With that pad in place the sector shaft is slightly tilted upwards. The pitman shaft is tilted causing the pitman arm to have an angle also. The gap between the frame and box closer to the front (bumper end) is much wider than rear side gap in the picture ( steering column ). Will the box need to be squared evenly ?
