Eric If you will email me the following info I will run a "heat loss" on each room
Size, ceiling ht, construction (wood/block etc), Insulation amount, and number size and type of openings (windows/doors)
If you have the ceiling ht you might be able to use low intensity gas fired radant heat. Very clean very simple.
Regards

Got Heat? I have a little 1000 watt space heater. It is more than enough for my shop.

The more appropriate question for Tucson is "Got AC?" I have a swamp cooler and a small AC unit for my shop. The heat is still brutal in the middle of the summer.

freind of mine has an old heater in his garage, its a wood burner, we got it up to about 95 degrees inside, when it was about 0 degrees outside, man it was nice, we actually had to open the door for a second cause we were sweating.
