The pull Rite super glide hitch moves backwards as you turn allowing for short bed trucks . However there is an adjustment screw that makes it hard to turn by hand. (the trailer has enough force to do it) . If this adjustment is allowed to go soft making it fairly easy to turn...RE-HITCHING the trailer could be difficult if not impossible . As you back up the hitch turns slightly instead of locking the clamp to the pin. By adjusting this screw (see photos) the hitch will stay straight during connecting and lock properly.
