nddragon01 - thanks for the pic and tapping the bar. I think I'm going to try my "tap test" with something metal - mine looks just like yours on the end...
JKBrad: Thanks for checking. Not sure if 20s were required in your year, but it gives me some hope...
Also can't remember where I saw it, but trailer tow and max trailer tow packages included the same upgraded bar (best of the three) as part of their packages. If you have one of those packages I think you've got the best bar.

Yes and we didn't order 20s but did order the Max Tow, so on one thread here a table was posted that said we wouldn't get the HD steering box and the upgraded sway bar, because of ordering 18s instead of 20s, and ford390gashog confirmed that, and that we couldn't get upgraded springs on a 145" truck no matter what. On the sway bar I figured I'd just swap out for the CB one. But now we know there at least 5 front sway bars for our range of trucks, as long as the two characters mean a different bar: AA AB AC (all likely hollow and have square ends) and CB and my CC (round ends that look cast). I'm back to thinking I lucked out and got the upgraded bar (maybe the steering box too?! One can hope) - I tapped on it again and it isn't like tapping one of the axle shafts, but I think it is solid... Pictures:
End - looks just like the CBs Tag, now we have a CC bar End a different angle
While we're all sway bar crazy, did you get a rear bar? I had one on my old truck, put one on my new truck. Night and day difference in handling having one on. Highly recommended. And just set it up at the tightest / hardest setting at the start and be done with it.

Unless the factory put it on, no rear bar (but I haven't looked). Our '07 F350 was ordered with the Camper Package which includes a rear sway bar. We'll have to see how the truck feels - can't put any miles on as my driveway is blocked with some major construction at the house (full of contractor trucks)... :-/
Thanks All - think I've answered my own question...

There shouldn't be a rear bar. I've never heard of Ford putting one on - your 350 is the first. Hellwig makes a good rear bar. Other companies I'm sure get the job done, my experience has only been with hellwig.
Stiffening/changing the stock front bar and adding a rear bar might not be the best blanket statement suggestion. It's a great suggestion for some situations and awful for others.
They are good for trailering, hauling heavy loads, or trying to drive your truck like a sports car.
They add no benefit to others, besides a slightly worse ride on bumpy roads, a lighter wallet, and are terrible for people that take their trucks off-road (unless you spend more $$ to get quick disconnects).
Where is that sticker? I picked up my 2020 F150 yesterday, and couldn't find the sticker, but then again, it might be behind the FX4 skid plates?
He mentioned that it was on the other side of that felt/strange materiel liner that is under the truck.
If you follow one of the sway bar ends, you'll see what I'm talking about. If it were metal, you'd call it a skid plate (but it isn't metal).
Thanks, I'll take a look. I want to poke around under there anywhere.
Try Driver's side 1st, on mine it was more towards that end - definitely under your skid plate. Do you know your build date? I was thinking you had one on order, but must've found one in stock? In any case Congratulations on the truck and post up some pictures! I'm looking forward to learning what your swaybar ends look like and its 2 letter code...
Scott
Remember, the sway bar is behind the front suspension on these trucks. The sticker on mine is on the left side, it wraps around and comes together to make a tab.
Mine is the 36mm diameter, "AC" version. had to remove that silly felt covering thingy.
What do the ends of your bar look like? Square or Rounded... Very strange since you have both the required Max Tow and the 20" wheels to get the CB bar (or CC?)...
