They’re from summit. You’re guess is as good as mine. But I didn’t pay top dollar for them.
I ended up putting an adjustable crescent in my vise, lining it with electrical tape (to prevent marring) and then tightened some more. Ended up getting the socket all the way on.
Much like Jeg's branded stuff those fittings are most likely knock offs, very possibly Taiwanese. They're not bad but certainly not "premium"---if the application isn't high pressure or a brake fitting I wouldn't be overly concerned.
Typically you want just a small distance between the red hose collar and blue inserted piece but that's more dependent on how far you've inserted the hose into the collar. I've watched a lot of YouTube videos about making up AN fittings which always stress the hose/collar depth issue. Look for videos from Earl's etc or one of the larger sellers who know this type product.
IMHO the photo showing the blue piece flat against the red collar suggests the hose wasn't initially inserted when you began. FWIW I've always used wrenches on both sides of the made fitting or one side carefully held in a vice as you did---that's just a good idea.
