I have a 2006 f250 6.0 completely stock , I had a issue the other day where I was showing negative boost ( on torque pro app ) and my gauge was below zero also. I pulled the codes on it and it was P0107,P00069, p0405, p0470, p0472, p0672, p2286, p2287. I though maybe my map sensor was the issue so I purchased a new one and put it in also checked the connectors and wires and it seemed to fix the issue, boost was reading correctly and everything was good. Fast forward to last night truck began having the same issue with the check engine light and wrench light, though well the sensor went out again , I changed it again and i also went and inspected the ebp sensor ( cleaned it and the tube ) checked wiring. Drove it and seemed to fix it again, well I made it about 3 miles down the road and the wrench light popped up and I had no throttle response, shut the truck off restarted it and seemed to be working again, until about another couple miles and wrench light came back on. Can someone point me in the right direction?
EBP reading
6.3 key on engine off. Then 26.6 when its idling
Like Mark said a bad EBP sensor. Should be really close to MAP & Baro engine off, and 1-2 psi above baro when idling. Yours is WAY off!
I think you can unplug it for the time being, but would defer to others more knowledgable than me if the engine will go to a "default" tuning in that state.
Update , purchased new bps and tube , ran good for about 5 miles then same thing. Readings while drive was 16.3psi but then when it acted up it went right back to 6.3 psi . Anything else to check
