For those that get the horse mats at TSC, which ones did you get? Was it long enough for the 6.8 bed ?
The 3/4" mat. They are not long enough for a 6.8' bed and are only 4' wide. If you want full coverage, you'd have to buy 2, lay them across the bed and trim to fit. If you can get ahold of someone with a Ford bed mat, you can use that as a template to cut the horse stall mats. They cut pretty easily with a hand held jig saw. I had one in my old F150 with the 5.5' bed and it worked pretty well. It's now in my garage.
The sizes of the mats are well listed on their site. It's not a secret
yes I see that, but some TSC have different stuff depending on the state. And since no one said they bought 2 I figured maybe there was one that was local to only them. They used to have bigger mats back in the day and thicker sizes. It's been a while since I've been in the horse arena .
I have the factory spray in liner. Line-X, Rhino, etc. are all good for protection, but they don't stop things from sliding around. So, I've had a Ford bed mat on backorder from my local dealer for over 4 weeks now (ordered in early Aug). I would normally have just grabbed either Dee Zee or Rough Country, but I had FordPass points to burn through.
I put a Ford bed mat on my 2005 F-150 when I bought it new. 15+ years later and it's still great.
This is what I put in my 19. I also have a bed cover so I did not want something too thick. While my 19 came with the factory spray in liner, I still wanted a bit more bed protection. I did not add any additional mat on the tailgate.
I also crawled into the bed and put several coats of flex seal where ever I saw light through the side and front seams of the bed.

I just ordered a Ford Bed Mat and Ford Floor Mats, the dealer said they would be in the truck when I picked it up Friday.
Thanks for all the replies. I decided to just order everything thru my sales person. He said the floor mats and bed liner would be in it when I picked it up Friday. Easy.
The gaps in the front of the bed are for water drainage!
no, those gaps (many and too large) are just a product of mass production and loose tolerances. My bed is covered with a bed cover so it does not get wet inside. Bed is aluminum so it won’t rust like the older beds anyway and if there ever was water in the bed, it would run out anytime I drove up an incline or parked it in the driveway...
