I'm pretty sure you'll find the spring not seated correctly with 100+ psi. The relief valve in the HFCM is supposed to be 100 +/-5 psi. Guage???

I'm sure If it wasn't such a tight squeeze and I wasn't rushing trying to get it done before my sons birthday party I may have gotten it right the 1st time..... well maybe.

I assume this proved the pump is fine?

Checked the spring twice last night and read 120 on my gauge after both times. Picking up a test gauge from the parts store today to verify.

Checked the pressure over the weekend with a analog gauge from the parts store and it is reading 62-64 psi. Apparently somewhere my sensor for my gauge went bad. Just add one more thing to the spending spree and project list.

Back at it again.

Cruise control stopped working. At 1st it was intermittent and now it never works. I have no SEL but when I ran tests using FORScan I get P0528. While trying to run one of the test, that I can not remember which one, I get P1780. That is all I know.

I know my electrical system has been an ongoing topic. The latest on that is when you open the doors at night the doom lights pulse the headlights also do this. Sounds like confirmation of the alternator? Voltage still stays above 13.0v.

For more fun when working on the FICM a while back I noticed the coolant lid leaked when I moved it out of the way. So I put on a new cap then noticed I had a coolant leak. Chased that to the upper radiator hose clamp. Fixed that. Then the overflow nipple on the radiator has been broken off and replaced and it was leaking so I epoxied that in as it was just treaded in. Now it appears to be leaking at the upper union between of the plastic and aluminum seam of the radiator!

I think I need to quit my job so I can keep up the constant repairs on this vehicle.

Cruise control troubleshooting:

So far it will not enter self test. I set up my Torque Pro to monitor the buttons on the steering wheel and everything works. On our last trip the cruise control would not work once we started out with a cold vehicle. When we stopped for a bathroom break and started the excursion back up and headed down the road it worked. Once I would need to terminate the cruise it would not work again until we stopped for the next break and the engine was turned off and back on.

I replaced the brake light switch in August and replaced the switch on the master cylinder before we left for the trip.

Any clues what to try next?
