Well, I came out to the truck this morning. Went to crank the truck and it started like normal. That's when everything started acting funny. Here are the problems: truck started romping, and now I know what a dead pedal feels/does, killed a few bugs with all the smoke pouring out of the exhaust pipe.
So it was not a great morning. Contemplating on what I should do. I thought I would get lucky and only have the bellhousing leak/stain

I got the latest reflash yesterday, very little turbo lag, will light
up both rear tires from dead stop, a/c is cooling better at idle,
no smoke at cold start up, no engine suge, great power through
the power curve. The number on the sticker under the hood
that the tech wrote on mine is: 3U7A-12A650-FTA. Atthis time

I took mine in and waited for it. The flash takes less than 30 mnutes. A real in and out proposition. It's amazing how much acn be done to and what can be known about a computer controlled diesel. We have 700 HP CATS in our boat, and the tech can change everything from idle speed, top end, trolling speed , etc with just a few keystrokes. He can also tell how hard we've been running them, but OH WELL!
