Just got back from 5 great days in the Smoky Mountains with the family. Unfortunately, the ex lost some value and bragging rights on the way home about 62 miles ago. On the plus side, she has a long life left ahead of her. Looking forward to multiplying that number many times in the years ahead!
So, what do you think of your Nitto's? How are they holding up? How many miles on them? I'll eventually need tires, and as much as I drive, something like the Nitto's is probably a terrible idea as longevity goes as I can get 80-100K out of a set on the Michelins.
100K on a modular motor is nothing as long as it isn't an NPI motor, i have had really bad luck with NPIs in vehicles(1996-1998ish), My 2005 Expedition is at 218k and still runs like a dream, original 5.4L 3V Engine just properly maintained.

I do like the Ridge Grapplers. Only have about 4k miles on them so far, but have done long highway trips, towed our 10k lb 36' travel trailer, and played with 80hp tune WOT blasts down the highway with no perceptible wear yet. Very quiet given their aggressive pattern, ride straight and smooth. Grip is surprisingly good, even when wet. They handle very well, so much that my wife kept reminding me that I wasn't driving a sports car while taking on the twisty back roads in the mountains......not that her comments slowed me down any haha. The ex handles quite good once loaded into a turn at lower speeds with this tire/wheel setup. Overall, they are much better than the 17 year old stock Michelins that came off it!

I did not see his signature on my cell screen, did not see that he was in a diesel. I see the 5.4 and 6.8 gassers a lot more and his dash gauges look identical to mine, unless the cluster changed at some point, the diesel i test drove had a different more modern cluster that looked like my 2005 Expeditions.

The tachometer that only goes up to 4000 (and says "Diesel Fuel Only") is a dead giveaway. The dash clusters did evolve throughout EX production.
And I agree that for a 7.3 that is just completing the breakin period, now it's time to drive it! If you keep the mileage building at the same rate it will take 200 years to hit one million miles.
She's got her quirks here and there, but all in all it runs strong. Congrats on having such a low-mile rig though. I'm a bit jealous!

Any V-10 that Ford put in an EX should be a Performance Improved (PI) model, the pre-'00 6.8s were the NPI dimes that had the older style intakes and heads. So unless our friend Jack has a swapped motor his heads should show the "PI" on them.

I was referencing the tag on my driver head and, with a 6/99 build date, assumed they were the old spec. However, your post had me doubting myself so I peeked in on the passenger wheel well and found the truth.
I am 500 miles away from hitting 70K miles on mine..and at 5K miles a year I should be there with you guys in ummm gets out calculator in about 6 more years lol
