Autolite Carb Question

What engines would have had the Autolite 2 bbl carb with the 1.33 casting? I find plenty with the 1.21 and some 1.23 however the 1.33 seems difficult to find, so I was wondering which year engines would have had the 1.33 on them. Thanks Bruce

To best of my knowledge the 1.33 was available from 1964-1966. Though there are some to have claim 1967. Mostly only found on the big Mercurys with a 390. The one I had came off a 1966 Mercury Monterey with a 390. The 1.33 is considered the holy grail of 2V carbs. Most give up looking and either go to the 2V Holley 500cfm, or go to a 4V. Or bore out a smaller autolite 2100 if restricted to a stock carb.

Bought a 68 Merc Monterey several years ago, but no 1.33 carb on it. Back then people would go by a rebuilt carb at the local parts house to replace a bad carb. Then it was pot luck what you got in return.
