My truck runs excellent until it starts getting hot, then runs rough, codes say it’s egr/thermactor problems. Everyone says it’s vacuum related. My truck is a 94 with 460. Two solenoid looking things on back of engine drivers side. I want to make sure the vacuum lines are in right location. The blue and yellow are on the lower valve, found the blue one was broke. I hope that is the problem. Does anyone have similar problems
On my 94, with 460, there are 4 lines going to those solenoids. Green to EGR valve, pink to thermactor valve, black and a white that tie into other vacuum lines, and end up at the vacuum reservoir.
From looking at your picture, your colors are different, but, the blue line is broken.
This engine came out of a 96 and had two of the larger solenoids, the 94 only had one, so we stayed with the 94 set up, I don’t Know what the lower solenoid is for, but it had a blue hose on one Barb and yellow on the other. The solenoid above it had the white and green hose. I fixed the broken blue one, but made no difference.

I repaired the blue one, didn’t make any difference. I have a blue and yellow that goes to the lower solenoid whatever it is. Both those come from two larger valves on passenger side. The white comes from vacuum reservoir to the egr solenoid and a green goes from egr solenoid to the EGR. Does your 94 just have one egr solenoid?
