I recently sold my 2000 F350, and purchased a 2020 F350. My question is, is there a power source thru the 7 pin plug that will provide power to help charge the battery while plugged in. On my 2000, the 7 way had one pin that was a hot wire linked to a 30a fuse under the hood, does the 2020 have that same pin in the 7 way plug? Thanks for the help
Yeah, pretty much all 7-way plugs are universal. Trailers with brakes on them require a +12v connection to charge the battery for their break-away system anyways...

I understand that part, but my 2000 didn't have the fuse already in, I had to install it, I guess I'll just have to get my test light out and do some checking.

Don’t count on that giving intuitive results. These trucks have digital controls on what that 7 pin is doing based both on ignition states and if it thinks it’s got a trailer hitched.
My 2020 F350 seems to charge the battery on my trailer. I didn’t have to do anything to my truck. My dad had a 2014 F150 that wouldn’t charge trailer batteries . It turned out the fuse wasn’t put in at the factory.

Gotcha. My 2018 charges my trailer, and I didn't do anything to it
