charging a small12v battery
could I charge a riding lawn mower battery using a plug and clamps off my cigarette lighter ??? the battery is used for lites at nite while camping and could be charged while riding around in the day..

Yes you could. If the battery is really dead it may blow the fuse but you could try it and see if that happens. Some of the cigarette lighters are power ports and are hot all the time, so check that. You do not want it to run the starting battery down with the engine off. Some do go on and off with the key, and in that case you could leave it plugged in.
