Losing Power in 5th
1996 F150 inline 6 4x4 manual transmission. OBDII reading
codes p0171, p0174, p0411. Recently changed all 3 o2 sensors, and had the intake manifold gasket redone. Mechanic says he deleted the air pump and a bunch of other vacuum lines but wasnt quick to tell me why or which ones. After some forum searching I've read that if the original cat converter is still in operation on the truck, deleting the air pump is a bad idea. Despite all this still losing power uphill in 5th gear. Wondering what anyone else might have had come up with those codes and this issue.

Firs you posted in the wrong area and your code numbers may not be the same as what our v8 EFI trucks get.
Most of our trucks don't have a computers or EFI so we cant pull codes.
Now being he removed the air pump and vacuum lines this will throw the computer into a limp home mode as it sees something is wrong.
So as you found out with a EFI OBDII truck you cant just go removing things and have it run good or even right.
I would say he did not know what he was doing or he would not have done that.
He needs to put that all back on the RIGHT WAY so it works and go from there on the fixing the issue(s).
