Driver door will not unlock! Need some help

Driver door will not unlock! Need some help

Drivers door will lock but will not unlock with keypad, remote or switch. If is only the drivers door that is doing it. I have verified that the actuator is good. They unlock wire just never gets a signal.

i need some help,this happened overnight and nothing was done to the truck I just went to get in it and it would unlock.

These actuators are notorious for going bad, however, since you've confirmed that yours is working and that the wire isn't getting a signal, I would suggest that the switch has gone bad.

would the drives door switch, keep it from unlocking only? I would think it still would work with the keypad or the remote.

I'm not as up on the wiring of these trucks anymore, so I cannot say for sure. However, I have seen on window switches that are all slaved to the driver's switch, a window will not operate if the driver's switch for it is bad. I am guessing that the door locks are similar.
