There should be a warranty tag rivited to the driver door. It will have the GVWR on it. 26000 and under, no CDL for the truck. 26001 and up, CDL. CDL is federal. States have slightly different rules on ag and rv use.

vinwiz.com VIN Decoder

Shows built in Kentucky in Oct. '75 as a 1976 model. 4th digit engine code is F for the FT 391 4v.

In Texas they weight truck for empty weight then add rated carrying capacity . Example weights 12,000 empty plus rated capacity of 4,000 so could be tagged for 16,000 pounds. This what I done on 83 F800, empty plus 2 1/2 tons witch made 20,000 pounds

C75 = C750 Tilt Cab (gas).

F = 391 4V FT engine.

V = Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant.

A61709 = 1976 // 1974 serial number range: S60,001-U80,000 // 1976 serial number range: A10,001-D25,000.
