Tell me SPECIFICALLY what you ordered: Ranger, Super Duty, new F-150, F-150 Heritage, SUV? Also need to know body style and your ZIP code (rebates are regional)- then I can tell you what incentives you qualify for.

Right now, there's a $1,000 rebate, good till 12/01/03. If your truck arrives by then, you'll get that rebate. Good until 11/3/03 is an additional $500 if you finance with Ford Motor Credit. Check interest rates with your local bank before you go that route, though; FMCC's rates are usually higher than bank rates. There are also rebates for commercial use, military service, competitive-lease vehicles, etc... but there are special qualifications for these.

To answer your original question, though, rebates ARE compatible with X-Plan purchases (except "private" offers: college grad, American Quarter Horse, etc...). Ford doesn't consider a vehicle eligible for rebates until it hits the dealer's lot, so that may be why they told you "no rebates." But you definitely qualify for any standard rebate in effect at the time you take delivery, X-Plan or no. If you still don't trust the dealer, you can request Ford to send you the rebate directly, as opposed to applying it to your purchase.

P.S. I knew it! NOTRUB is BURTON spelled backwards!

Thanks so much for your help!!
Also I had a little talk with my salesman and ya know everyone is entitled to a bad day. Yes I am aware that all sleasman are supercool until you buy the vehicle only reason I am buying from him is cause I am friends with the owner of this particular dealership and this is who my friend put me with??? Anyhow I almost call my friend the owner yesterday but figured I would wait a day and give my salesman a second chance, and I am quite happy I did!! to think I almost trusted this salesman---shame on me

I did need to know the straight scoop on rebates because I definately do not want the salesman having more info than me!!

Its cool when someone figures out NOTRUB I think its so obvious but people ask me about it all the time.
