OK, my turn on these things. My truck is an E but I have a later rear in the garage that I intend to install (yeah it's still sitting there waiting on me). I believe that main difference is the right side caliper sits on a different side (front vs rear) of the hub. And I suspect the left line is my culprit (I have intermittent hot brakes over there). I don't think that just changing the one line is a good move and I don't know what to do here. I'm going to guess that the E needs a longer line on the right because I've seen guys got the kits and the one didn't fit (I'm guessing it wouldn't reach). I suppose if need be I should be able to swipe that left line off of the other rear but in spite of my miserly ways, that's not really my style on something like a brake line. What to do?
ETA: Oh, and in my search I found links to several vendors of the SS lines that are not longer viable.
Hi Mark. I installed Crown lines a few months ago. You have to call to get the rear kit for the earlier caliper configuration (2 different length lines). Nice quality stuff, but pricy.

Any hints on where to find them? A city or anything?
The drivers side line has to come up from behind the axle so needs to be longer. The Passenger rear caliper is used on both sides in these early super-duties.
The superduty kit is the two fronts and the center rear line.
A little pricey but not bad for quality that will last the rest of the life of the truck most likely. And if he does the axle swap he can just call and order the one line for the left rear if he can't make the E99 line work. Not sure if you can do that with Russel but a phone call would answer the question. Dealer Locator - USA / International - Russell Performance Plumbing
I’m sure Russell would have worked, but I never did see their option for different length rear lines. I probably could have dug deeper, but I found a different solution.
