what kind of info do i need to start a donation type fund for him? who would i set it up through? i want to do it right, if people are going to contribute money, and i want NO question that the money is going to his family....any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks again

If he went to church, or his family belongs to a church, that might be a good place to start. I think churches have programs for setting up donations.
