I have been reading threads for a while and decided to to join as I have a new project, my wife's grandfather's 71 F600 VIN #F61CVK80471 with a dump bed. This truck has been sitting for about 16 years and it is time for it to see some action again. Recently I rebuilt carb and that's all it took to get running. Gas tank is rusted through, front axle is going to need king pins and oh yeah did I mention it has absolutely no brakes. Truck seems sound mechanically and body is in good shape as it has been stored in a building. I have managed to remove front wheels and drums, all wheel cylinders leaking, shoes covered in oil and grease and bearing seals leaking. Entire brake system is most likely going to need to be replaced/rebuilt. Any help in determining what parts this truck has will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
